K-12 and higher education institutions sometimes do not think about customer service or the need for customer service skills in an academic setting. However, since the 2020 pandemic, the education landscape is more competitive than ever. Customers (students, families, faculty, staff) have choices, many choices.
By adopting a customer-centric mindset, educational institutions can: (1) increase student enrollment, (2) improve student, family, staff and community relationships, (3) attract and retain an exceptional workforce and (4) build a healthier learning environment.

Kellie has provided me invaluable and continued guidance throughout my leadership development. My journey with Kellie began when she formally mentored me in my MBA program and continued when she hired me to take on a senior leadership role within a large non-profit organization. I sometimes grappled with uncertainty about my leadership style and how to navigate new situations as an emerging leader who was now responsible for leading a large team. Kellie's expertise and mentorship were instrumental in helping me navigate challenges and grow as a confident and effective leader.
Kellie offers her mentees insightful and thought-provoking strategies. She provided a supportive yet accountable space for me to explore my strengths and weaknesses and offered me practical strategies to overcome self-imposed limitations. This has been instrumental in allowing me to identify and hone my unique leadership style.
Specifically, Kellie assisted me in navigating the challenge of leading a large, multi-layered team. Kellie exposed me to the tools and frameworks necessary to foster accountability, build trust, and inspire my team members. I have even incorporated much of what I learned from Kellie into the mentorship I provide the leaders on my team. Kellie often talks about the ‘Three P’s’: People, Purpose, and Passion. This framework inspired me to lead with authenticity and purpose while working to create a collaborative, productive work environment that keeps people at the center and is focused on the mission.
The positive outcomes I've experienced since working with Kellie are undeniable. My team's morale and engagement have grown, and we've achieved remarkable results in our initiatives. I'm deeply grateful for Kellie's transformative impact on my leadership journey, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking to unlock their full leadership potential.

Having had the privilege of working closely with Kellie over two years, I can confidently attest to her exceptional skill as a coach and strategist, along with the diverse array of experience she brings to solving organizational challenges and developing stronger leaders.
Kellie is a born coach and leader who seems to effortlessly empower and inspire those around her. She bears a warm executive presence along with a knack for guiding others towards discovering their own solutions and unlocking their inherent capabilities.
Kellie does so with a rare gift for active listening and asking the right thought-provoking questions to arrive at the heart of a problem. She is deliberate yet quick to gain understanding of not only underlying technical issues but also the needs and concerns of the humans involved. Time and time again I have watched in admiration as Kellie skillfully guided conversations toward solutions by doing little more than asking thoughtful questions.
This also speaks to another strength worthy of highlighting, Kellie’s strategic acumen. She possesses a keen intellect and an impressive ability to analyze complex situations, identify opportunities, and develop strategies that drive meaningful results. Kellie has been and remains one of the first people I would turn to for thought partnership in tackling thorny organizational problems, and I have regularly witnessed others doing the same.
In addition to her professional expertise, Kellie is a person of integrity, empathy and good humor. She genuinely cares about the well-being and success of others, and is a steady source of warmth and joy for those in her presence.
In closing - with her exceptional listening skills, natural coaching abilities, and strategic mindset, Kellie Sigh would be a tremendous asset to anyone seeking transformational results for their advancement as a leader, team or organization.

My relationship with Kellie Sigh began during an interview I conducted for my master's degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership. During that interview, I was immediately inspired with her professional experience, her values, and her attention to my development as a future leader. I could not have found a better mentor to help me build my self-confidence, values, and skills toward becoming a proud impactful leader. Although our mentorship is still rather new, already I have received priceless guidance ranging from presentation skills to handling critical issues between staff and senior leadership. I look forward to Kellie's continued guidance.

I’ve known Kellie professionally for a few years now and she’s changed the way I’ve viewed leadership. She’s a good listener and helps you to become clearer with your vision and guides you as you stand on and for that vision. She challenges you gracefully to get you to the other side of the learning, whether it’s the lesson she believes you need or the lesson you’re grappling with accepting. She’s a great accountability coach while also giving you the space to do the work. My favorite part is knowing that she sees you. No matter the experiences you’ve encountered before meeting her. She sees your greatness and she reminds you of it. She repairs harm in a sense. I’m grateful for my time of working with Kellie. She’s definitely helped shape my leadership style.
